Internet based training not only provides flexibility, it also saves money.
Internet based training, eLearning or Web based training (WBT), as this form of training is referred to, is well established at Finnair and offers an effective way to improve the efficiency of your training. Our Internet training is provided through our dedicated Airline Training Portal. This alternative to classroom based training is especially suitable for pilot and cabin crew recurrent training where savings in time and money can be demonstrated.
Finnair has several years of experience of providing WBT and those customers using it are growing all the time. These range from large flag carriers, low cost carriers to executive jet operators and small operators located in many different countries and continents across the world. Students often perform their training down the line at hotels during a stopover or at home prior to simulator training.
With broadband internet now available in most populated areas of the world, Finnair's WBT offers fast and reliable training and features a Learning Management Tool to follow training progress.
We welcome operators and flight training organizations (FTO's and TRTO's) to try this flexible training approach.
