The Finnair Flight Academy is a part of Finnair, the airline, which is one of the oldest airlines in operation. The airline was established in 1923 and we started flight training in 1950. This makes the Finnair Flight Academy one of the oldest in the industry.
As a modern Flight Academy we are constantly updating our training equipment and methods. The Finnair fleet is supported by the latest state-of-the-art training equipment and services which are also available to our many customer airlines. For many years our Flight Academy has pioneered training for many aircraft types from the Convair CV440 and Super Caravelle to our current fleet. We were among the first airlines to start computer based training (CBT) and to launch Internet based training (WBT).
The Finnair Flight Academy is open for training 24 hours every day of the year.
