Practical training

FFA Technical Training can deliver the two weeks practical training required by EASA Part 66/147 to complete the type training of the B1/B2 technician. This training is usually done in a real maintenance environment and partially with the use of modern simulators.
Practical training has following learning objectives:
- Performance of maintenance, inspections and routine work according to the maintenance manual
- Other relevant instructions and tasks as appropriate for the type of aircraft, for example troubleshooting, repairs, adjustments, replacements, rigging and functional checks
- Use technical literature and documentation for the aircraft
- Use special tooling/test equipment, perform removal and replacement of components and modules unique to type, including any on-wing maintenance activity.
- Engine run-up training is usually done as a separate course
