MCC / JET training

Multi Crew Co-operation Course

Finnair Flight Academy Multi-Crew Cooperation course (MCC) gives the students realistic training in operating a multi-pilot, multi-engine airplane as a crew.

The objectives of the course in accordance with to JAR-FCL 1.261 are optimum decision making, communication, division of tasks and use of checklists, mutual supervision, teamwork and support, throughout all phases of flight under normal, abnormal and emergency conditions.

MCC Course consist of theoretical training and practical training. Theoretical training is organised as a stand alone course. Practical training can be delivered as a stand alone course, or integrated into Type Rating Training.

JET orientation training

JET orientation training is available for those pilots transitioning from multi-engine turbo prop to a jet aircraft.

Training consists of jet handling theory and practical training in flight simulator. The objectives are to become familiar with the handling characteristics and basic features of jet engine powered aircraft.

Jet orientation training may be integrated into MCC practical training.
